1Life’s Purpose

We will work to have a thriving student ministry that Connects students to one another, Elevates them in their walks with God, and helps them Discover God’s plan for their life.

 

  • Connect:

    • John 15:5-8, “I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 6If anyone does not remain in me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. 7If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you. 8This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.”
  • Elevate:
    • Romans 12: 1-2, “Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship. 2Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
  • Discover:
    • Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

 

1Life 6.8

The 6.8 ministry will focuses on 6-8th graders with crazy activities, funny videos, upbeat worship and a relevant message for junior high students.

6.8 students meet Sunday mornings at 11:00am and Wednesdays at 7pm till 9pm @ Son City 6.8 Night.

 

 

 

 

 

1Life 9.12

1Life 9.12 is the senior high ministry that focuses on students in 9th-12th grade with a service packed with videos, testimonies, worship and a relevant presentation of God’s word for high school students.

9.12 students will meet on Sunday nights at 7pm in the 1Life Student Center. 

 

 

 

 

 

The Spot

This is the Sunday mornings class for 6-12 grade students. Its second service after worship, at that time the students will be dismissed. So it’s for both 6.8 and 9.12 students.
