Where faith and families collide

What We Believe

We believe the Holy Scripture, both the Old and New Testament are the inspired Word of God. The Bible is inerrant (in its original writing), with complete revelation of His will for the salvation of man and is our final authority in all matters of faith.

We believe in one living true God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe in God the Father; who is infinite, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, love and who seeks relationship with His creation.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, born of the Virgin Mary to be the perfect Man and the one true God. He died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins, rose from the dead, ascended into Heaven and presently serves as our intercessor before the Father.

We believe the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ. He convicts the world of sin, regenerates, indwells, guides, and empowers the believer for service and Godly living.

We believe that Satan is a real and supernatural personality, the enemy of God, who was cast out of heaven with his angels, whose final doom is hell and who is to be resisted by believers on the basis of victory accomplished by Jesus Christ on the cross.

We believe that man has a living soul, was created perfect in the image of God that he voluntarily and consciously broke God’s command, and as a result, sin was brought upon the entire human race so that all men are born with a sinful nature and face just condemnation by God.

We believe that Jesus Christ’s shed blood and resurrection provides the only grounds for salvation and justification for all who believe, and only those who receive Jesus Christ can become children of God.

We believe the two ordinances water baptism and communion (the Lord’s Supper) are to be observed by the church as commanded.

We believe in the universal church as a united body of believers of which Christ is the Head and all who have the saving faith of Jesus, being filled by the Holy Spirit are members. We believe in the local church, whose task is to fulfill the Great Commission of evangelism, identification and discipleship.

We believe that a Christian should live for the glory of God and the well being of his fellow men, and that his personal life should reflect God’s love.

We believe that the soul of those who trust in Jesus Christ for salvation immediately passes into His presence and remains there in conscious bliss until the resurrection of the body, but the soul of un-believers remains in conscious misery until the final judgment of the great White Throne at the close of the millennium.
